Joseph Proulx is a partner at Golden Albinson Proulx where his practice is primarily dedicated to litigating and recovering property subrogation losses across diverse lines of insurance. His focus extends to areas such as products liability, construction defects, automobile and boat manufacturing/design defects, as well as a range of general torts. In conjunction with subrogation, Joe practices in the areas of general liability, professional liability defense, and business disputes. Joe’s long-standing client base relies on him for his legal acumen and insightful guidance. As a proficient trial attorney, he has represented clients in numerous jury trials with successful verdicts in both state and federal courts.
Joe earned his Business Administration degree from the University of Florida in 2005 and earned his Juris Doctorate from the Florida State University College of Law in 2008. Starting his legal career as a public defender, he took great pride in representing indigent clients through every stage of the legal process, including misdemeanor and felony jury trials. Since 2011, Joe’s practice has been devoted to civil litigation in the areas of insurance defense, subrogation, professional liability defense, Florida Lemon Law arbitration, consumer law claims under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, and breach of warranty claims under the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act.
Joe is admitted to practice in the State of Florida, State of Georgia, State of New York, and State of Pennsylvania, alongside the United States District Courts for the Southern, Middle, and Northern Districts of Florida, the Middle and Northern Districts of Georgia, the Southern and Central Districts of Illinois, the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, and the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
